Each piece is crafted using hand tools in my South Carolina home studio. I use sterling silver, fine silver and 14k gold filled metals. I select and cut quality stones with color and character to delight and inspire. I tend to make mostly one of a kind pieces utilizing traditional metal smithing practices that require a high degree of concentration and focus. Its all about the journey. It starts with the raw rock. Like our trials in life help us to develop wisdom and character, the process of cutting rough rock, polishing, finishing and designing into the finished piece reminds me that our lives are not only refined by our trials, but made richer for them.
