My work covers a wide range from primitive to playful, bypassing ‘pretty’. I am drawn toward engineering challenges, as well as the chameleon aspect of working with polymer.

The primitive is influenced by a trip to Africa and a fascination with ancient cultures. The playful brings color and childlike joy to the designs.

The challenge of seeing a design in another medium and translating it into polymer has always been a driving force. As a contributing artist to the Belle Armoire Jewelry art jewelry magazine, my work is always evolving and moving the material in new directions.
