Regina Semko

Paper - origami

A love of nature, color, and pattern are expressed in Regina’s origami. Inspired by “The World of Origami” by Isao Honda in the early 70’s, she continues to use the traditional models found in that book along with others to fold current enhanced and embellished pieces that are decorative, useful, and affordable.
A wide range of papers are used to fold decorations, flowers, boxes, animals, and jewelry. From Japanese chiyogami and washi papers, Florentine and art papers, to quality gift wrap and recycled calendars, the pieces are treated with a polymer coating to make them water resistant and long lasting.
